2012 Local Committee President Elections

This Monday, 5th of September, the annual LCP (Local Committee President) election of AIESEC was held in HAGO53. Three of our candidates: Clement Sun (OGX), Tushar Fotedar (ICX) and Roger Qiu (VPMAC) started their 10-minute speeches amid the warm applause of AIESECers. The candidates depicted their personal experiences with AIESEC, their understanding of the LCP role and duty, and their ambitious strategies for AIESEC ANU in the coming 2012.

After the first round, it was time for LC members to ask questions, which contained both serious and funny ones. Everyone was very enthusiastic and they longed to know more about our potential future leaders. Some of the questions were quite hard in my perspective but our candidates were still able to provide satisfactory answers. Before voting, the candidates were asked to collaborate a funny show with Clement singing, Roger dancing and Tushar rapping. People really had fun!

The most thrilling part eventually descended! In AIESEC tradition, the winner will be dumped with a whole bucket of water and everyone was eager to know who the person would be in such a cold night.
